post Chord Dictionary for iPhone

July 31st, 2008

Posted by NickPLee at 11:55 pm

I couldn’t find a piano chord dictionary in the iPhone App Store, so I wrote one. It’s available through Cydia under home->More Package Sources->SaladSoft (Nick Lee).  It’s powered by 8notes.com and will be in the app store soon (I hope!)

Enjoy!

post Barcode Scanner XP Released!

July 14th, 2008

Posted by NickPLee at 2:02 am

Barcode Scanner XP is a free barcode scanner based on the barcodepedia.com webcam scanner.  It also uses some .NET component that makes barcodes from numbers.  The lookup feature used to work, but it no longer does as I lost a vital PHP script.  Only use this for the novelty of it.

System Requirements:

  • Webcam that works in flash
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 - link
  • ActiveX version of Flash 9 (just update flash in IE)

WINE Compatible: NO

post Devlog Started!

Welcome to the skedge devlog! After about a year of development of skedge it occured to us that starting a public worklog would be a good idea, so here it is!

I’ve been using the relatively stable beta builds of Skedge for most of last year for note-taking in highschool, and we’re now ironing out bugs and adding needed features beyond the basics. It’s looking good so far, and we’ll upload screenshots soon.
